Shortly before 9 AM, witnesses reported that a tractor trailer had gone off the roadway. They informed it was “sitting on large rocks.” The driver was “laying in the roadway.”
The front end of the cab had “major damage”. The trailer itself was fully loaded with 22,000 pounds of asphalt.
An ambulance was called to the scene to treat the wounded party’s injuries. They are believed, at this time, to be minor. Hazmat teams were also called to the scene. The cause of the accident is unknown.
