ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Five individuals were hospitalized Sunday following a two-car crash at the Eureka Road offramp from eastbound I-80 in Roseville, according to the report by ABC10. In the event of being involved in such an accident, seeking advice and legal support from a car accident attorney can be crucial.

The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. when 52-year-old Dale Benjamin of Antelope, driving a 2017 Nissan Frontier, failed to navigate the cloverleaf interchange from southbound Atlantic Street to eastbound I-80. The vehicle crossed a median separating the I-80 on-ramp from the Eureka Road off-ramp and broadsided a 2020 Hyundai Palisade driven by 43-year-old Ryan Penano of Rancho Cordova, causing the Palisade to roll over.

Benjamin’s vehicle continued south across all lanes of the off-ramp, eventually hitting a metal guardrail and descending a steep embankment.

CHP reports that Benjamin sustained major injuries, while his passenger suffered moderate injuries. Penano and his two child passengers also sustained major injuries. All five individuals were transported by ambulance to Sutter Roseville Medical Center. Authorities confirmed that everyone involved was wearing a seatbelt, and an investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
