NEWHALL, Calif. – According to the CHP, at least one person has died following an off road accident Thursday night. At approximately 10:20 PM Thursday night, one person was unconscious and one went off road following a downhill accident.
This occurred in the area of Sierra Highway and Rowher Canyon Road. Search and Rescue went looking for one of the victims of the accident, however, Search and Rescue was sent back due to the unsafe nature of the roads.
At least one person has died in the accident. Their identity has yet to be released. The investigation into the accident is ongoing.
