LOMA LINDA, Calif. – According to the Fontana Herald News, an 88-year-old man was walking through a parking lot when he was struck by a car and died. At around 12:40 PM, a vehicle struck the victim in the 2500 block of Barton Road. Both people received care at the scene, and were taken to a nearby hospital. Medical staff pronounced the 88-year-old man dead in the hospital. The vehicle driver cooperated fully with the investigation, staying at the scene.
