MODESTO, Calif – According to the Modesto Bee, two died in a crash on 6/8 north of Turlock in a crash where DUI was suspected. According to the CHP/California Highway Patrol, at 4 PM, south of Grayson Road and on Geer Road, a head-on accident occurred.
Preliminary reports found a 25-year-old Turlock woman drove her 2013 Lexus south on Geer. She went into the northbound lane across the double yellow lines. There, she crashed into a 36-year old Modesto man in a 1996 Toyota headed north. Both died at the scene despite wearing their seatbelts.
