At around 11:30 AM Tuesday, at the intersection of Skyway Drive and SR 135, a vehicle crossed over the northbound side from the south.
This vehicle then went through a fence and hit a pole. The pole then went down across Orcutt Road. The pole began, according to witnesses, “sparking and starting a fire.”
This led to power lines being down across SR 135, live wires down on the road creating a dangerous situation. As a result of this, a small fire started in the center divide.
