According to the CHP, the incident occurred around 9 PM near the 16th Ave offramp from the I-880S. A vehicle hit the K-rail and was left hanging off of it. While the driver was initially thought to be trapped, they were able to extricate themselves from the vehicle. Authorities noted that the driver was “hysterical” when they contacted law enforcement.
Ambulances were dispatched to the scene, but the extent of any injuries remains unknown.
